The triglycerides is formed via esterification not condensation right?
ReplyDeleteA triglyceride is formed from the condensation of one molecule of glycerol and three molecules of fatty acids. This reaction is known as esterification.
DeleteEsterification = condensation reaction in which an ester (triglycerides) is formed from three fatty acids and one glycerol molecule. Esterification is the term for this whole process.
